Gas Leak Crawley

A customer in Southgate Crawley called us out as an emergency complaining of a gas smell. On investigation, I found that there was a gas leak internally in the boiler, it was a gas pipe seal that had disintegrated causing the leak, I replaced the gas seal which sorted out the problem.

I have been out to a Potterton Kingfisher floor standing boiler located in the kitchen area of a house in Furnace Green Crawley this week. The boiler gas valve had failed completely due to old age and wear and tear. I replaced the gas valve and carried out a gas safety check. The customer was very pleased as he thought he would have to have a new boiler installed but we managed to repair it instead.
